2019 1500 6.2L 10 speed. Truck is an absolute beast. DFM disabled hasn’t skipped a beat. Surprisingly good fuel mileage on the highway. Change oil every 4-5k.… - 4.0
After 52k miles
By Chevy | on 4/21/2026 10:37:49 PM
Overall, my truck is a 2022 Silverado 1500 LT with a 2.7L turbo 4 cylinder engine. Gas on it is honestly pretty good, city gets about 15-17MPG. Highway 20-26MPG. The only real issue I had with it was around 37k miles the truck started jolting. Took it to the dealer they said it’s normal. I knew it wasn’t but I had extended warranty on it up to 100k (HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING WARRANTY!!!). Around 46k miles, it was bad to the point where I would have to press the gas harder in order for it to catch a gear and go. Took it the dealer after multiple times arguing that’s something isn’t right. They finally fixed it properly. They changed the valve cover and some smaller things, shifting issues essentially. Works like new now. Love the truck. Very comfortable for trips. I just feel like GM should really look into the transmissions and combustion engines closer before asking high prices.… - 5.0
No complaints

After 5 years, I’ve been so happy, Transmission went out at 85k miles, but warranty covered it and I only paid $100 out of pocket, took a week, then I got it back with a new and improved tranny. As long as you have a warranty then your good, but everyone should have a 125k mile warranty anyways, it’s worth the extra $4k.…
